So you are on a flight and the pilot announces “we are all fueled up and ready for takeoff”. 30 mins into a 14 Hour flight he announced “we are going to crash as we have run out of fuel”

The passengers stayed on the flight prior to departure because he told them ALL that the plane was fully fueled. If he had told them they were going to depart with enough to fly for 30 mins and not 14 hours, how many passengers would have stayed onboard?

Silly passengers for not dipping the tanks!!!

That should make the BIG misinformation more understandable for you.
