Interim report by end of September and final recommendations/report in Feb 2019.
Any industry wide changes will probably have a transition period.
In the meantime, id expect more Dover like action although AMP/CBA etc are too big to fail. Expect more banks like CBA to sell of their advice arms, its not worth it for them anymore now they cant take the mickey out of consumers. Better return on capital elsewhere, especially if they can sell before any possible abolishment of grandfathered income.
