I have a thought on your options. I'm not an investor in IGE, but have been watching the company since they first started making noise about plastic to oil. My interest arises from a broader interest in this potential market. I am sorry to see how this has worked out thus far, but not greatly surprised as a result of their failure to ever attempt (as far as I could see) to put a single processor in operation producing product for the marketplace. That made me suspect that they had a processor that could spit out an end product but didn't have a system to do it at a commercial level. I would love to see them prove this hypothesis wrong for your sake.
If there is $ to be recovered, the lawyers who do this work there will sniff it out. It does appear to me (a lawyer in the US), assuming your laws are similar to ours in terms of standards for liability, which is a fairly safe assumption, that it is worth a good lawyer's time to investigate. Based on the facts I've seen, the first thing I would be doing is looking at the question of whether a judgment could be collected. If so, I'd be off and running on your behalf and you could save all the time and effort of worrying about how to do a class action. Bottom line, I would put all of my effort into researching the lawyers who would look at this first.
