Is there any point in joining this Class Action, I do hold a few WBC, some from late '87 after that crash, a few more after the 2008 crash and in early '09 when they had to raise some capital to stay liquid but the only shares that are relevant to this class action are those purchased between 30/6/14 and 19/11/19. In my case that's less than 500 shares from dividend reinvestment in 2015 and 2016 plus the 1 for 23 Rights issue in 2015.

I suspect that after the lawyers have taken their cut there wouldn't be much left in the pot for shareholders anyway so apart from the fact that it might not be worth the time to fill out the paperwork if you do nothing you are still part of the class action anyway. The only scenario where you might miss out is if the 2 parties come to any settlement prior to the trial, I don't know how likely that is.
