The result of a class action can vary enormously depending on the attitudes of both parties. If there's a settlement (rather than fighting the action out in court), it's often for only a fraction of what is being claimed. I wouldn't be surprised if this one got settled, along with the IMF Australia class action, because a court battle would produce adverse publicity for the company.

I'm registered with Slater and Gordon as well, but I don't expect it to produce a lot of compensation.
