Hi, I got the same letter. I believe it's legit but I don't think you're obliged to fork over $550 at this stage.
From my understanding, if a class action goes ahead then you will be asked whether you want to opt in or out of that action. This letter appears to be guaranteeing that you won't be forgotten to be asked! I think these solicitors are saying- register with us for $550 and even if you become untraceable we'll make sure you are included if the class action goes ahead.

Unfortunately there is no indication yet of how much in the dollar shareholders like us might get if a class action goes ahead and is successful. Still no guarantee of anything yet as far as I can tell.

If anyone else's understanding of this is different then please let us know.
