Can anyone advise the dollar value that the class action for PIF are suing for?
The Australian newspaper quote "over 200 million" but I thought it was originally for over $700 million, however since most of the respondents are no longer involved and the main thrust is against KPMG.....how much are they being sued for? If it is only 200 million when there are approximately 5000 people involved, some of whom who have large amounts invested,it doesn't leave much at the end. Also how can any investors in PIF who were either gifted or who purchased units in the fund following it's collapse, stand to benefit from any proceeds of the CA,when in my understanding only those who bought into the action were going to benefit from any pay out.
Can anyone please illucidate on this?
