Yes a conspiracy theorist may argue that it does appear on the surface to be a stitch up. When you look at all the evidence on face value in conjunction with the time frames and sequence of events, it does look extremely strange. In fact I would say this is one of the strangest occurances I have seen. Oh its probably all just a coincidence!!!
If you took up the offer at 20cents, or if you are a long term holder you would probably be extremely angry I would imagine.
Question - If they didnt do a cap raising to pay the debt and TAM got into trouble, would the board have been personally liable for the debt. I dont know, I am not an accountant or lawyer. I dont even know if its a relevant question
I will never be touching another one of these type of stock again. Absolutely no way. I cant believe how lucky I was to get out with a very small loss.
