It's better than nothing. And that's what the liquidators left shareholders with - nothing. Of course if you have a spare 250k, you could opt out and mount your own legal challenge, but there is no guarantee you'll get something better. The lawyers have given a 1/3 to shareholders, which I think is reasonable given court costs, funding risks etc, and the minimal risk to you, the claimant.
