The news is a bit sketchy but the courts have approved the settlement. Grant Thornton, the administrators (who will be needing their cut as well) will now ensure the "settlement distribution" also meets the approval of the court before the funds are released. I have emailed Grant Thornton with an update request and will post here with any news.
Unfortunately IMO the longer this drags on the less likely we are going to see any payout at all, it is looking suspiciously like all those involved will just keep kicking the bucket until the funds stop dropping out then we will be given a page detailing the settlement amount and where it has all gone. It will of course be all audited and there won't be a thing we can do about it except wish all the perpetrators rot in hell.
