I would have thought that if another offer arrived on the table the board would be obliged to consider it regardless of what their arrangement with MacB is . Surely they must always act in the best interests of their shareholders which I believe they have been derelict in doing in this case . To not do this must surely be in contravention of all Stock Market principles . If a better offer arrives they may not like it but surely this would have to be put before the shareholders despite what MacB tells them to do .
