You are right about the executives needing to be accountable puntaa... and your reference to BLA is a spot on example of execs blowing smoke to inflate the share price and then exiting their positions as the boat starts to sink... is VOC really in the same boat though?

Class actions are just a money grab for lawyers that are wrapped in a fuzzy blanket to make equity holders feel like its about them.

I agree that it needs to be the ASX or ASIC need to have more teeth in this regard... what is the point in having a stock exchange market if the chances of it being fair, efficient and free are continuously damaged by execs and directors who take their healthy pay cheques and equity issues and leave the people who contributed the capital with nothing...
