class action, page-4

    to the contrary, someone is spending a lot of money on legal fees (or a legal firm is doing a very charitable act) in the event that CNP goes into administration.

    i am yet to see any class action succeed against a company in administration. at the very best the shareholders would be next in line behind the lenders as vultures waiting to feed off the carcus. obviously the lawyers think there is some meat worth picking on to have taken this case on....

    imho a takeover still remains odds on favourite as the most likely scenario out of this debacle for everyone. strong rumour a month or so ago was 90cps, i would think 95% of current CNP shareholders would be happy with that.
