No doubt in my mind there has been loss of value. The sustained inability to trade shares, loss of confidence in the Board and management, and lack of communication all point to a loss of value. I'm all for a class action if someone has acted inappropriately and walked all over others. No doubt there are enquiries currently underway by ASX and probably ASIC. These need to run their course first.

There are many lawyers who have run class actions against other companies. They wouldn't be hard to find. Some lawyers may already be following the events at RFT and wondering if at some stage there may be a dollar in it for them. A class action could take years to resolve and there wouldn't be any winners, but it may be better than allowing someone to shred the value of a listed company and walk away without consequence.
