investors are unable to buy shares in AMP because they don't understand what the outcome from the class actions will be information and opinion will help investors to get on board and lift the SP
the reason AMP shares were shorted was because of just that
media headlines have painted a grim outlook for AMPs Class Actions
to draw attention to similar cases and the percentages in outcomes provides confidence to investors
