Received an email informing me that a Law Firm that I have nothing to do with, is taking a Class Action against a company that I'm involved with on my behalf. I need to lodge a form if I do not want to proceed. A good chance this will be missed by a lot of people. The way I see it, they take 30% plus if they win, my investment goes down or the company raises it product price to cover the cost.
Have I just sued myself by agreeing to this? Or, should I be smiling knowing that in X years I receive a cheque for X amount of cents in the dollar.
