We have a wonderful Westminster style democratic system in Australia and you post about class hatred.
In Australia the term class hatred are extreme words being mischievously used by those who dont believe the working class are entitled to to be organised in their endeavour to secure a fair and equitable outcome for their work efforts.
The word hatred is inappropriate but if it had to be used its more inclined to come from the right wing extremists who want to increase their own wealth by restricting the wealth of ordinary working Australians. Some very wealthy people in fact agree with fairness in the workplace and having national safety nets to protect the disadvantaged but there is also a small core who in spite of their own extreme wealth(billions) cry foul when workers try and secure a measly 10 or 20 dollar a week pay rise. In fact some of these billionaires are only interested in themselves to the point that if they could they would replace their whole Australian workforce with comparatively cheap overseas labour, and by workforce I dont just mean blue collar workers but also professionals and other work categories.
If Abbott was to win government and then tighten the screws as suggested by Mozart56 then imo the coalition tenure in government could be short-lived. Abbott is resisting the pressure from the ideologues in the LNP ranks and for that he is to be commended.
Class hatred out of place in Australia and imo exists only in the minds of a minority who are political extremists.. A fair go for all is what is required.
