The Federal Government's tax cuts have officially passed through Parliament six weeks after they came into effect.
Labor and the minor parties blocked the cuts in the previous Senate but they were introduced by regulation so that they could begin on July 1.
The Government says it is appropriate that the first Bill to be passed by the new Coalition-controlled Senate is the legislation to introduce the tax cuts.
