Why should ASIC have their paws all over it Scmickometer? Classic hasn't even floated yet, so there can hardly be a criminal conspiracy. And as with all companies that float, there is seed stock issued to the people who are on board from day 1, and then comes the IPO, this usually goes to the sophisticated investors who missed out on the seed shares. I'm sure once it is floated, you'll get the same chance as everyone else to invest on market.
If the big picture for GWR,FAS and Classic is to merge all 3 companies, then I think IPO would most likely go to investors who support the deal, not those who fought tooth and nail to prevent them from achieving their goals.
Loyalty can bring great rewards, as long as you're loyal to the right side. Think about that carefully and ask yourself, what Gary is offering you for your unyeilding loyalty to him?
Oh, that's right, he's only looking after his own interests, once he gets your vote, there's nothing in it for you... just another shareholder to fund his glossy brochures...
