suds, in answer to your question regarding the 5 for 1 getting 7 for 1, the answer is yes, I signed at 5, and was issued 7, if you read the bidders statement from FAS, it tells you that those accepting will be issued with whatever the final offer goes to.

As for the Classic float, one would imagine that all spots on the list would already be filled for the seed stock, by the directors and their assosiates and more likely than not on the IPO as well. Nothing shady about it, it's just a matter of being in the right place at the right time on the right side of the fence.

I don't recall being offered any IPO on GWR when it started up, nor would I have expected it. should I cry foul? or accept that in the corporate world, the spoils go to those who have the most to contribute.
