claytons grade

When is grade not really the grade.
I should just let it go but the CTO grade and jork intrigue me so much i just keep trying to make some sort of sense out of it.

From the 2005 inferred mineral resources report.
Average grade derived from 623 significant drill intersections above 3 metre grams per tonne. ( note key word ABOVE )

So what happens to that grade if all holes into the ore body are included and averaged out.
From the last 2010 drill results CTO reported only 8 out of 20 had hits above 3 grams per tonne. Some with no results and most others not worth publishing. .

One can see from those reported results even most of them are poor for underground and only a couple were decent hits.
If one were to average the good with the bad imo it would be clearly obvious that the overall grade is nowhere near 14 grams per tonne . The waste and inferior ore has to be moved to get to the better stuff so it should be included in the overall grade . Happy for someone to shoot me down in flames and prove me wrong but tonnes grade and ounces coming out so far indicate that they are achieving no where near 14 grams.
