This is like Mergers and Aquisitions 101 at business school. Don’t worry about the business fundamentals just buy up other companies in your market at a 30% premium. The aim is to be number 1 or 2 in a global market so that you have pricing power. This means you are highly profitable. Then your shares rocket.
Looks like cannabis is the new dot.com. Seen it before, shareholders get burnt, Directors walk away with millions. The question is will Highbrid TRIP be in the top two?
Thousands of dot.coms have burnt out to nothing, a few FAANG remain.
This company with its payments to Mr Blumenthal, snap cap wearing CEO and most importantly no CFO is questionable.
