Company Announcement 31 July 2008 Contractor Injury at Mosaic Oil Site Mosaic Oil NL (ASX: MOS) advise that a contractor working at one of Mosaic Oil’s sites in the Surat –Bowen Basin was seriously injured on 30 July 2008 in an accident involving high pressure equipment. The injured contractor has been airlifted to a hospital in Brisbane where he received urgent medical assistance and underwent surgery. He currently remains under observation. Mosaic Oil senior executives are on site and working with the Queensland Department of Mines & Energy safety inspectors to investigate the cause of the accident.
