AGREED. Too many mining companies (or any company) have directors taking large chunk of salaries at the expense of shareholders before a project even becomes successful. You know why? Because they won't be liable at the end of the day as it is a "company" as long as they've done their fair share of announcements.
Real directors will make sure the company have as much financial strength as possible to achieve it's goals before rewarding anyone else in the company (directors and shareholders).
