I can't help but wonder how the LME price of cobalt futures plays into what is happening in the market for cobalt miners and development miners. From my past experience with LME gold and silver contracts, I've learned that these contracts can and are settled on delivery date with cash instead of metal. I'm assuming it is the same for all metals including cobalt, nickel, etc. That allows for manipulation of metal prices, which in turn affects the valuation of the miners. Any ideas on this or background knowledge?
