Just saying, I am not a fan of the word "Trumptard" and hope people stop using it. I understand the context, as anyone who has criticised Trump has faced a blizzard of abuse (with highly offensive and personal terms) for five years. While I see the temptation to give a small fraction of that back to the very thin-skinned people who hurled that abuse, people from the disability sector might have something to say on the wisdom of using a term like "Trumptard". So let's not. That said, the most personally offensive insult for me is a bit of a surprise. It's "communist". The new trend of calling people less conservative than yourself "communists" really bugs me. I'd find it hard not to deliver an instinctive right uppercut to someone who called me a communist to my face, just because I voiced a few mildly socially progressive opinions that most of mainstream Australia would agree with. Funny the things that get under your skin, isn't it?

You know what annoys me? When Loopey Lefties come up with a "socially progressive" idea and all of a sudden "most of mainstream Australia agrees with it". Just like the climate change agenda. How well did that go for you at the last election?
