    Well, the annual burn-off in Indonesia that had Malaysians and Singaporeans et al gasping for breath a while back, and similar events, has to have an effect on the weather somewhere due to the enormous amounts of CO2 released, doesnt it?
    And just maybe our bushfires can add to that effect....
    But could some sane person explain in sane terms how a carbon tax in Australia was going to negate the effects of these events?
    During a recent volcanic eruption it was pointed out that the first day of resulting smoke & ash negated all climate change strategies for the next 1200 years or so.
    How would a carbon tax deal with that?
