Exactly, Kozzie. A giant scam.

Very similar to the one Malcolm Fraser pulled on us about 35 years back with his "Parity Pricing" on oil that immediately hugely increased the price of fuel at our bowsers....the story then being that fossil fuels would be exhausted in 7 years or so, and the extra money raised was for research into alternatives.....
Now that, in hindsight, was a barefaced lie.....
Just as global warming and the carbon tax is..

But we are not as silly as they think.
