Yes Australia has had bushfires for ever but the change is US

We have removed all the big tall strong trees and left the rubbish which burns like mad.

Previously the fires went through the undergrowth and did not bother the tall trees a fact the indigenous people used to advantage by making it easier to get fresh growth and the animals had no where to hide.

So western man has wrecked the natural course of the bush
