I agree with Couger, This bingolike give away should be rating much higher if it was considered economically responsible.
I'm really impressed that so many people are voting against the handout.Amazing! Where else in the world can a population afford do that?
It shows that we are well off and dont need a handout.imo It shows that we understand/comprehend the need for careful planning for the future.
Statisics do not allow for distortions ie..Some businesses have been used as tax minimisors or excuses for pleasure based tax writeoffs etc. When the affluent owners close these businesses because of stock market losses etc the statistics will only show an increase in business closures..Statistics dont tell the true story of what is happening imo. Once again tax minimising distorts and encourages waste.imo. Please address the overly complex tax rules of Australia.
We deserve a much grander plan with some challenges ,instead of sweety handouts, before it gets really difficult imo.
