I use hotmail only. I use the sweep function daily and then delete the deleted items folder. I delete the junk folder without even looking at it. People who complain about not getting a reply to their email get told once, "if the subject line is not short sharp and to the point...bad luck, learn to write".
Same with mobile texts. If their message requires me to use more than 1 word for an answer... I don't answer. Later on when they complain I explain to them, "if you can't phrase it requiring a 1 word answer then you need to call me....stop wasting my time."
Nobody has hired a hitman to hunt me down yet and technology works well for me.
