It's very hard to put a tangible valuation on GCY.
The Gascoyne brand name is in the toilet.
I can't see anyone paying a reasonable TO premium unless we hit some seriously eyepopping paydirt.
It's human nature, everyone wants a bargain (particularly in this economic environment).
The junior mining sector is circling the bottom of the toilet right now.
Perhaps we are on the precipice of forced M&A as credit availability dries up.
GCY could really benefit from this as surrounding distressed assets may need a processing option to unlock cash from their deposits.

Comparing resource ounces can be very misleading. Not all resource ounces are created equal.
    Questions you need to ask.
    1. Percentage of resources in measured, inferred or indicated categories?
    2. Potential strip ratio / dilution?
    3. Size and cost of developing resource to a mineable state?
    4. What mining method will be used for extracting ore?
    5. Grade?
    6. Infrastructure (is it appropriately sized, fit for purpose and in overall good working condition)?
    7. Proximity to other mining operations (potential toll treating agreements, M&A)?
    8. Haulage road access (are roads bitumen, what's the distance from major towns/cities, how far is the deposit from the road)?
    9. Power options (mains, gas)
    10. Access to water.
    11. Is the deposit shallow, deep, voluminous, thin veined, stacked, technically challenging?
    12. Are there any Provable or Probable reserves?
    13. How many years is their mine plan, is it robust and based on only Reserves and Indicated resource?
    14. Is the deposit still open in multiple directions?
    15. Is the MRE made up of multiple small deposits or are they larger in sizer (the larger the more economical)?
    16. Has there been any metallurgical studies, what is the estimated metal recovery ratios from gravity circuit/ leaching circuit?
    17. Most important of all, can the ore be profitably extracted and sold at a reasonable discount to today's gold price (ie someone using $1,850oz as the reserve cutoff price is a better bet than $2,300oz)?

I know this doesn't answer your question about the value of GCY but it does give you an example of how hard it is to compare exploration and mining companies and how most of those comparison tables above are effectively worthless.
