it's a good pick up that the equipment and installation costs to turn the solar energy into energy that can be transferred to the grid or stored in a battery will need to be accounted for. I assume when CPV say that 87% payback in 8 years they mean that's the payback for the glass not all of the infrastructure costs to actually do something with the energy that is captured.

obviously each business case will need to take that into account and do their dure diligence.
