fair enough then old chap..... and I agree wrt sports, trans and other gender switches which result in an unfair hormonal advantage should have their own class of competition. same with toilets.
some of the trans people I've known have been in the bin (prison) and these people are a distinct character in their own right. others, outside in the world, just want to live their own way. I don't see any of them "shoving" anything down anyone's throat.
its only the debate that is in peoples' faces. and then its only if they are against freedom of choice that people get upset with alternate gender identity imho.
