So the leader of the Taliban was in the Mujahadeen, and you're saying that the two had no links to each other?!
The bald fact is that the US planted and propogated and funded and armed fundamentalist Islam in Afghanistan. They gave money directly to not only Usama Bin Laden but also to all of his women-hating cronies: and at the time they had no moral qualms about it at all!
