A couple of links to some information on the EFS. Seems to be a bit of a difference on where we are at. The clinicaltrials.gov website was last updated on 24 July and says "not yet recruiting" but shows an estimated start date of July 23 and an estimated primary completion date of August 23 whereas the Medical Device Network site indicates that Dr. Latib has already implanted the device.
