Dubai| Woodside Energy is the only Australian company to have signed up to an Oil and Decarbonisation Gas Charter at theCOP28 climate summit,which the hosts hope will force faster action to cut methane emissions.
Its involvement in this charter is significant because it previously declined to join a similar initiative with much wider industry membership, known as the Oil and Gas Methane Partnership 2.0.
