If my tax component is less than 0.0001% of all taxes collected, then surely you won't mind me not paying my taxes.
if everyone thought that way, "oh, we only make X contribution and so and so makes 30 times X contribution, therefore what we do won't make a difference" then nothing would get done.
Not sure if that's the point your trying to make, and apologies if that's a misinterpretation.
