    Do yourself a favour - plant an acorn seed and see how big a tree it gets to by the time your solar panel fails or windmill loses it's puff - both the latter ones will end up in landfill whilst the 'real green' will just keep growing and absorb much of the hot air.

    BTW, I have built a cubby house for my kids it was rather large so that even adults could comfortably stay in it. Not sure if you could say that about a doggy house - perhaps one in your own backyard??

    Thus, indirectly perhaps but they did generate power - these days paper mills, wood cutters and oil pressers are in the main all powered by electrical devices.
