Remember the ice age scare of the 1970s. I remember an exciting cutting edge BBC doco where Nigel Calder travelled the world talking to all the top climate scientists and spread the alarm. Of course the cash flowed.
Then it was ... "all change" and they flipped over to the world will end by 2000 from heat etc.
