The climategate scandal left us in no doubt that the latter was widely utilised.

And it has been demonstrated many times by good scientists there are glaring discrepancies and discontinuities in the temp record once it has been homogenised.

Besides, most papers seem to start with the premise of global warming and then make predictions such as a sea slug losing it's ability to escape predators. This does not strengthen the argument that DANGEROUS warming is actually occurring. It isn't, empirical evidence tells us otherwise.
