Anyway, the article is clear proof that direct action, Tony Abbott and Coalition policy style, is inefficient and DOES NOT WORK. The only way forward is a market-based mechanism i.e. a price on carbon. It will also be cheaper than the alternatives in the long run for all of us. By complaining, whinging and moaning about it we are only serving to put off the inevitable and cost tax-payers more the longer we wait. There is no other way. I predict that before the decade is out we will will have a comprehensive global carbon price and only rogue states will not be included. (Australia may or may not still be a rogue state by then, LOL.)
