Part of me laughs whenever I see you well educated folks discussing climate change.
A larger part of me cringes and smacks my head on the desk.
Stevo, climate change is exactly that, the change in climate.
As we continue to pollute we through the environmental equilibrium out of whack, which results in a larger variation in weather.
This may not sound like a problem, but when larger variation includes massive floods, shocking droughts, ice caps melting at a much higher rate, plant and species being wiped out at a rate of an estimated 100 to 1000 times the average extinction rates occuring during normal evolutionary times (To a point that it is currently being called the Holocene extinction).
It's not as simple as you going "oh it's been raining this week, clearly climate change is a scam!".
