as a participant in these threads, i am keenly aware that you can't win, and only partake to while away the hrs when its either too hot or too wet for me to be doing something useful outside.

but have no illusions -

both sides rely on 3rd hand information to form their opinion, so at some point, a small leap of faith is required.

either you chose to believe the spin coming from either faction, or you don't.

it would be naive to think that so called "skeptics" in this debate have not also fallen for some form of spin.

many of them are actually just denialists dressed in skeptic clothing, and would happily change their tune as quickly as they changed their opinion of Anna Bligh, if and when it suits them
