bbq, I agree that there are things that need to be done in order to conserve resources and reduce pollution. However if we are lead to believe that by taking certain actions, we can halt a looming disaster, what if they are wrong? By that I mean, if the climate is changing due to entirely natural cycles, but we kid ourselves that we can stop this change, aren't we squandering time and resources that could be put to better means to adapt to the ongoing changes.
It's like Algore telling Noah not to worry and to build a bigger pump instead of an Ark.
