all these are noble goals but when ordinary people have to deal with chronic brownout/blackout situations and all the consequences thereof then we will all see what really matters.

many thousand of people will lose jobs, homes, electricity and see their familes pushed right to the wall. what happens then?

will inner city global warming moral crusaders show the way and give up the bulk of first world creature comforts we all take for granted?
