NCDC would be reliable, but I would get the data directly from them, not that other ridiculous website. It wouldn't surprise me if they had doctored the figures or changed them outright.
My point about the human body was to illustrate how temperature-sensitive living creatures are. If a person has a temperature of 39degC, they are in big trouble. Now obviously global warming isn't going to cause us humans to burn up, but it is going to cause havoc in the natural world. And we pay a heavy price for that in so many ways.
