    Banjar - I think that this is the core of the issue - and ZZEDZZ has pointed it out in the past as well. Depending on the timeline used, the interpretation of the same geological evidence ( include all evidcne types here), use of varying proxy data, modification of models and statistical analysis leads to various conclusions, some supporting climate change hypothesis and some not.

    Where it has been taken from that point is more a reflection on the human affliction than the evidence itself
