Yes, Port Moresby maybe high risk. I had the opportunity to travel to PNG when I was 14. 48 years back and I was told about the risks then.

Spent 4 weeks there and spent time in Madang, Lae, Mt Hagan and went to a sing sing where i was the only white person present. Fascinating. Memories are there forever.
