and just imagine the world we'd have today if a nuclear build out happened thru the 60-90's. think about the huge increases in life expectancy, growth, development, technology, innovation that came when the world shifted from whale oil to petroleum and coal. we could have had that same massive ramp up into a better world with atomic energy starting from the 60's instead we had the Cold War and a transition to Malthusian style "Limits to Growth" policy making and social engineering
